This workshop provides a model of mental health that is easy to understand and apply. Everyone knows that “It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way” even from an early age. Understanding this ourselves as well as understanding what children do with the problem is essential in dealing with the mental health challenges we see in both adults and children. It also gives us insight into our own personal emotional development and functioning.

Outcomes:

• A visual model of mental health that can be used in working with all ages and in understanding ourselves.

• Concepts and language that can be used in supporting clients and staff with emotional challenges and stress in general.
